Bio:
Like so many before him, Dr. Brian King is from New York but
now calls Los Angeles home. It’s not a typical transplant story. Thanks to his
military upbringing, he grew up all over, including Frankfurt, Austin, New
Orleans, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh. He is the founder of the legendary Wharf
Room Comedy Show in San Francisco, and continues to produce the annual Bay Area
comedy competition "Walk the Plank." From his West coast base, he
tours the nation as both a comedian and public speaker, discussing topics like humor,
happiness and health. Audiences appreciate his dry, sarcastic sense of humor
which, as a trained psychologist, is half professor and all smart-ass.
